College Republicans at UCF hosts an annual project entitled “9/11 Never Forget.” The event takes place this Friday, September 11th from about 6am – 6pm; we set up at 4am (yes, college kids do get up early for a worthy cause) and are completely set up by 5am. Miniature flags are placed on a lawn next to the Math and Physics Building (link to UCF’s campus map: http://campusmap.ucf.edu/flash/index.php), each flag representing an American life lost eight years ago. From 12pm – 2pm we will have various speakers, including John Palidino, the founder of thje national 9/11 Memorial Foundation, and a UCF student singing the national anthem. Any coverage you would like to film, including interviews with members or officers of our organization, would be great. Hope to see you all at UCF on 9/11 as we remember to never forget!
