This summer is turning out to be one of the hardest for me. My son Hayden got his drivers license and hit the road!
He is enjoying his freedom so much and I am trying so hard to let him enjoy it without me hoovering too much. Boy - is that hard. If I had my way, I would be in my car following him around town. Not really, I just like to say that. It really has been wonderful having him drive. I don't know how I ever got anything done when I was driving him all over town.
Thank goodness I have my girlfriends to talk with. No one understands what a mother goes through, except another mother. My husband can just shrug it off and go about his day. That's so unfair!
To all the other mothers out there with children that are driving - I feel your pain and you are all in my prayers!
