Back to School

Can you believe it's that time again already? Every year I can't wait for school to be over so we can enjoy the summer, and every summer I can't wait for school to start so we can get back on a regular schedule!

I think my problem is I'm jealous of Hayden's time off! I miss having summers off and not having a care in the world! Why can't the kids see just how great this time in their life is? Why is only when we look back to we really appreciate what we had?

I am trying very hard to work on contentment in my life. I am clearing my schedule of all the busy things I do. I am trying to stay involved in only the things that mean the most to me. That's hard for me to do because I always want to help everyone. I have figured out I am no good to anyone if I am always tired and stressed from being too busy.

So I'm working on slowing down and enjoying life right now!
